This dashboard was created in tableau. It visualizes the poverty and unemployment rates for U.S. counties based on 2015 U.S. Census data. While the data is quite erratic at a granular level, the trend lines illustrate that as the non-white population percentage increases, both poverty and unemployment rates also increase. These rates increase in a roughly linear manner initially, but becomes more exponential at higher non-white percentages.
